Mount Augustus

Mount Augustus

The flight passes the magnificent Kennedy Ranges, an elevated north-south oriented sandstone plateau between 12kms and 25kms wide and about 75kms long. You will see the rocks that comprise the range were originally deposited beneath the sea as well as rugged cattle station country. Mount Augustus is the world’s largest rock and is more than twice the size of Uluru. Mount Augustus (Burringurrah in the local Wadjari Aboriginal language) is located in the Mount Augustus National Park, Western Australia. There is plenty of time to tour the rock and visit the ancient Aboriginal rock carvings. Enjoying lunch by an idyllic shady billabong known as Cattle Pool tops off an exciting and informative visit to this area before boarding your aircraft for your journey back to Denham.

We also provide transport to Shark Bay Airport to your accommodation return free of charge.

Minimum numbers conditions apply. Prices are flight cost, tour and accommodation cost are separate.
